Everything for the organ has arrived at Tallowood except for the facade pipes. These pipes will be on the last shipment from Highland, Illinois. The "facade" pipes are the pipes you can actually see when you look at the organ chambers. There will be thousands of pipes behind the facade of the organ, but the ones we'll be able to see will be the most impressive (the very tall silver pipes as well as the horizontal tuba in the pictures from the first post).
In the pictures below you will see more of the organ being stored in the choral and ensemble halls as well as parts of the organ being lifted up into place in the new worship center.
The organ console has also arrived at Tallowood, and will be put into place later. Enjoy the pictures below!
